CWRU receives NCI grant to advance treatment of gastrointestinal cancers The National Malignancy Institute has awarded $11.3 million to Case Western Reserve University College of Medicine to determine a center of excellence for research on gastrointestinal cancers . The funding designates the university as a Specialized System of Analysis Excellence in Gastrointestinal Cancers – reputation expanded to just one single institution this season.
